The Arts Center hosts the Decorative Arts Category of the Grand Prairie Festival of the Arts and the Arkansas County School Exhibit Open House

A quilt titled “Soul Sister” by Lorie Bernhardt won first place and best in show in the Decorative Arts category at the Grande Prairie Arts Festival. The artists were recognized at a reception on April 5 jointly recognizing the winners of the Decorative Arts category and the students who participated in the Grand Prairie Arts Center Arkansas County School exhibit.

On Tuesday, April 5, the Grand Prairie Arts Council and Grand Prairie Arts Center hosted a reception for Grand Prairie Festival of the Arts Decorative Arts attendees and the Grand Prairie County School Exhibit. ‘Arkansas.

In attendance were members of the community, members of the board of directors, winners of the Decorative Arts category, as well as young people and their families who had worked on an exhibition of their respective school or the Center’s extracurricular art classes. Arts.
